FAQ

  • Do I need a referral to start physical therapy?

In California, no referral is required to begin physical therapy (Direct Access). Some insurance plans may still request one for reimbursement, but for most patients, you can start immediately.

  • Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans, which means sessions are paid at the time of your visit. I provide Superbills for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
I do accept Medicare for eligible patients.

  • What conditions do you treat?

I treat all pain conditions! If it hurts I can help. If you want to get stronger, perform better, I can help!

  • How many visits will I need?

This depends on your condition, goals, and how long the issue has been present. Most patients see meaningful results in 4–8 sessions, while complex or chronic conditions may require longer programs. We'll discuss a realistic plan during your evaluation.

  • Do you work with athletes?

Yes! I specialize in working with softball players, overhead athletes, runners, lifters, and active adults. I offer strength testing, performance programming, return-to-sport training, and injury prevention programs tailored to sport and position demands.

  • How can I work with you?

You can work with me either in person or online.
